The top 6 components of a computer are:
- Hard drive
- CPU
- Ram
-Disk drive
- Case
- Fan
Assembling:
- Put the Cpu in where it fits (It should be a bit bigger than the actual CPU and have a lever that you pull down after the CPU is in place)
- Assemble your fan and screw it into place
- Attach all the wires into place (This is quite easy because the wires are keyed)
- Install the Disk drive
- Put the ram into where it fits (It should be bigger than the ram disk and have two outer corners and you pull in)
- Now do a smoke test (This makes sure everything is okay and into place) If it smokes look over your work
-Put the outer shell of the case and screw into place

Maddy, good work on this recap: it is very systematic and well ordered. Don't forget that the motherboard and power supply are main components, whereas the fan and optical disk drive are not. Can you add a little more information about each of these components? Your link does not seem to work, as you are pointing into the email system: can you make it clickable, and make it point to the right place? What is it supposed to show?
